Powder Filling Machine

Powder fire extinguisher filling line includes filling machine and conveyor. It can be supplied with automatic or semi-automatic options and controlled by PLC. The operations are empty cylinder feeding, filling and full cylinder collection. The filling process is done through vacuum pumps in the system. During filling the powder is compressed to 12 to 14 bar pressure. "Vacuum transfer pump" is used for the transportation of powder materials during the filling process.

Powder Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers can be used in most types of fire, and get quick results. It is the only type of fire extinguisher effective in metal fires. The risk of fire being ignited is the disadvantage of powder extinguishers. Usage areas;

  • Fires containing flammable solids such as paper, wood and textiles ( Class A fires)
  • Fires containing flammable liquids such as gasoline, diesel and paint ( Class B fires)
  • Fires including combustible gases such as butane and methane ( Class C fires)
  • Electrical fires with electrical equipment up to 1000v
  • Flammable metal, lithium-containing fires (L2 powder extinguishers only)
  • Fires containing all other combustible metals (M28 powder extinguishers only)

Vacuum Transfer System

Powder fire extinguisher uses a vacuum transfer system to ensure that powders are fed into the system. Vacuum transfer system enables the transport of dust and bulk materials. It is the preferred transfer method in many industries. Particularly, it is one of the most important reasons for providing efficient dust control. The vacuum transfer system is specially designed according to the facility capacity.

Conveying System

A sliding belt conveyor system is used to transport the cylinders to the filling area and to remove the filled cylinders from the system. This system is specially designed according to the layout of the plant.
